I'm basically going to tell you everything I wish I had known when I first started reading fanfic. First, I just want to stress the importance of feedback. It's pretty much the only thing that keeps an author writing. Writing a story and hearing nothing in return can get pretty depressing. I don't mean to sound like I'm lecturing, but I just sent my first feedback letter two months ago and now I *really* wish I had done it from the very beginning. It's a great experience to get to communicate with these really talented folk (9.9 times out of ten they will reply to your message).

Ok, back to the real point of this post..... You didn't specify what your particular interests were so I've included my *entire* list. It's not everyfic I have ever loved since I've only been keeping track since about September, but it's a goodstart. I have also included a link to Ephemeral which has a recommendation function that makes it easier to find the more popular stories (although the number of recs can be misleading. Some newbie authors write *great* stuff, but get over looked because they don't have name recognition going for them. So be adventurous and check out new stuff from go to Chronicle X you'll find that it's part of a recommendation ring. That'll help track down some good sites. Another good tip is to check out the gossamer links page.
